Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - Murrey's Scene

You know Murrey? He is the homeless person that you usually find on the bridge. Well, if you talk to him, he'll ask for your money, and an option will pops out, asking how much money will you give to him. Give him enough money, and then he'll say that he will return to Popo Valley using your money. But guess what? He'll be at your door, saying that he spent all the money on drinks. So he'll stay.

Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town - Fishing Rod

In Harvest Moon Back to Nature, you'll receive a fishing rod from a fisher in a nice Saturday morning, but it's different in Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town!

You'll get a fishing rod from Zack

Enter Zack's house when he is inside, and you'll get a cut-scene, because usually you'll get a fishing rod when you enter Zack's house for the first time.

I hope it helps!

Harvest Moon Back to Nature - Garbage

When you're fishing, when you find something you don't want to keep, when the recipe isn't working, don't throw the garbage on the ground or water (pond, sea, stream, etc). Why? Because when you're throwing the garbage, it'll cost the villagers' heart

If you want to get rid of cans, old bots, horrible food or anything, just save it in your rucksack and hit the Rose Square, you'll find a trash bin.

Do it in the real world too! :D

I Found an Interesting Article!

I found an interesting article about Harvest Moon Back to Nature, I think it'll be pretty useful for the beginner who wants to succeed in the farm living. ;)

Harvest Moon Back to Nature - Get ALL Hearts

Isn't it fun when you can have all the girls in the village loves you? :p Yes, they all can have a red heart at the same time if you want!

First, give all the girls their favorite items. Karen loves wine and Ann loves eggs, Popuri loves jewelry, Mary loves mushrooms and Elli loves flowers.

Then, go visit their spot. Go to the supermarket and buy something, go to the inn and eat anything, go to Poultry Farm and buy 8 chickens, go to the library and read books, go to the clinic and have a check up.

When they have a red heart, don't forget to hit the supermarket and buy a blue feather. Don't buy it from Won!!! ^_^

There are several warnings, though, you'll need to spend extra time wooing the girls, and you might end up with no one because you can't decide which girl are you going to marry, or they all marry someone else when you are busy collecting the hearts. :(

Hope it helps!

Harvest Moon Back to Nature - Elli Can't Leave The Clinic

Many people asked me about this, what does it mean when Elli says "I can't leave the clinic."?

Well, you will get that answer when you show Elli the blue feather, and she won't marry you. That is the sign of refusal Try to give her more gifts, visit her everyday and talk to her. And show the blue feather after she has a red heart for you. :)

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - Van

Van is the person you see standing next to the bar, selling his things. Van is also the right person when you want to sell things that you can't sell to Takakura in the storage building.

Van comes on 3rd and 8th of every month, always stands on the exact place. :p

You can also sell your item to Van with much more expensive price than when you sell to Takakura. But remember, your item should be more than 100 G.

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - Cat

You can get a cat from Romana. It is just a pet, though, so you won't be able to sell or do something with it. And also, dog can prevent the burglar (Murray) from entering your farm, but cat can do nothing. :(

Anyway, if you want a cat, befriend Romana (she loves milk) visit her in the villa everyday, talk to her. I suggest if you do this, you might want to marry Lumina, because you'll see her everytime you enter the villa. :)

How to feed a cat? Easy, just put an edible food in the bowl next to your house. Yes, the bowl that you use for feeding your dog. The cat will eat from that bowl too, so make sure the bowl is always full!

And you can only have  a black cat. Romana won't give you the light color cat that you always see in her villa. ;)

Romana is the most generous person in the game, she will gives you a piano score, a watering can and a cat!

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - Milking Room

I have some interesting facts about the milking room, hope it'll help you to decide is it worth it or not! :)

  1. The cost is 60,000 G
  2. The option to build a milking room is in the storage building
  3. You won't need to waste your time milking your cows
  4. When you put your cows inside the milking room for a day--straight--then you won't need to push them to the milking room everyday
  5. The milking room will influence your child's career, when you have a milking room, there is a possibility that your son/daughter will become a farmer. :)

Remember, if today they sell knife, than you can only buy a knife, so keep watching the TV every Saturday.

  1. Enter your house, tune in the TV, watch the program, check the price, check your money
  2. Go out, go to the Inn, click the telephone near the cashier
  3. Then you're calling the company, no telephone number or anything :)

Harvest Moon Save The Homeland - Winter

Winter is the last season in Harvest Moon Save The Homeland, your game will be over after winter.

The question is, have you ever reached winter?

I have to say, there are times I have no idea what to do in the game. And so I played until winter, and guess, it was game over.

But yet, to be honest, winter is my favorite part in Harvest Moon Save The Homeland, the color of the village is so calm, and you'll find cute edible mushrooms that you can sell for good price too. :)

Of course, you have to keep in mind that there is a goal that you need to achieve in every episode, say, this time you pick Cake Contest, and the next time you'll pick the Horse Race. That's your focus, and stay focus! :)

Keep loving Harvest Moon!

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - Fodder

Based from a question in one website, I've decided to write complete steps about how to get a fodder. Enjoy! :)

  1. Go to Vesta's shop around 10.00 o'clock. It is the building near the windmill. Talk to Vesta, Marlin or Celia
  2. Buy a fertilizer, I suggest to buy ten fertilizers. :)
  3. Go home, enter your pasture and press square, choose the fertilizer and hit X. Stand in front of a grass when you're holding the fertilizer, click X or square. The fertilizer will disappear, that means you've used the fertilizer.
  4. Repeat it ten times.

Soon, your grass will grow and you'll be able to cut it. After you cut the grass, enter the barn and go near the fodder-saver (near the wall) and press X for the information about how much fodder you have now.

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - Getting Your Horse

Now you're in chapter 2, without any horse. Yikes! How could that happen?

There are several reasons, maybe it's raining when Takakura decided to give you the horse, or maybe your barn is full, etc ...

But here are some quick tips about getting your horse:
  1. Normally, you'll get a horse from Takakura in the first chapter.
  2. Befriend Takakura and at least talk to him.
  3. Check your barn. Hit the select and learn your map. If your barn is full, then you won't get a horse.
  4. Try giving Takakura home-made food.

So I hope you'll get your horse! :)

Oh, and I need to tell you, there are many options in picking the color of your horse, you can save the event where Takakura gives you the horse and restart it all over again until you've got the horse you like.

My Diary about Home in Harvest Moon Save The Homeland

...

Hello! :) I'd like to write in the Special Diary tag. It's about Harvest Moon Save The Homeland, the first Harvest Moon that I bought.

From my other post, I've written about how I found the Harvest Moon Save The Homeland, in a tiny shop in small town with BIG question mark. I knew nothing about the game, but yet, I can tell that I will love it eventually. And I did. :)

So, being able to play hours and hours in my bedroom with a simple TV that turns green and blue without any warning, I can't help but get drown in such addictive game, thinking about the greatest strategies and stuff. ^_^

And when I noticed that I can upgrade my house with a help from the carpenter, I was so excited!

Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life - The Anti-Villagers

When you are playing Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life--well, make it all Harvest Moon games, you need to stop being a loner. Try to socialize with villagers! Why?

  1. Villagers will give you gift, that you can't buy from anyone. (Check my post about gifts from villagers)
  2. They will help influence your kid's future career.
  3. At the end, you'll need to marry one of the villager, and it's hard to marry someone you don't even want to look at. :p So try to love them!
